Western propaganda without limits: Unmasked

In the run-up to the celebrations marking the end of the Second World War, the West is not above raping history. The Russian state channel RT dispels myths and lets Churchill and Roosevelt speak.

Introduction

It is almost unbelievable how the West trivializes the achievements of the Soviet army – the army that was responsible for defeating Nazi Germany. These myths have been propagated since the outbreak of the Cold War and in the run-up to the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany, the Russians are being left out of the equation – this cannot stand.

Facts

Due to propaganda, many people in the West still believe today that the Americans won the Second World War because they defeated Hitler and Japan. However, this is by no means true. There are two ways of looking at how many countries contributed to the victory against Hitler. You can look at the active side, i.e. how many German soldiers were killed and by whom: The Soviet forces killed 76% of all German soldiers, all other Allies together (France, Great Britain, the United States, etc.) 24%. If you look at the liabilities side, i.e. how much blood the individual countries gave for the victory, the weight is even more striking: American losses in Europe, approx. 250,000, losses of Great Britain, approx. 450,000; loss figures for Russia 27 million.

Fiction and truth

RT has more than elegantly juxtaposed the drivel of Keir Starmer and Joe Biden with the people who actually knew the truth about Russia’s achievements against the Nazis: Prime Minister Churchill and President Roosevelt.

Keir Starmer – Winston Churchill

Keir Starmer speaks to the Americans first:

“No two militaries are more intertwined than ours.
No two countries have done more together. To keep people safe. And in a few weeks we mark VE-Day, the 80th anniversary of victory in Europe. Britain and America fought for it side by side to make that happen.”

Starmer does not mention Russia at all.

Then comes Churchill, a quote from a letter from Churchill to Joseph Stalin.

“I shall take the occasion to repeat tomorrow in the House of Commons what I have said before, that it is the Russian army that tore the guts out of the German military machine and is at the present moment holding by far the larger portion of the enemy on its front,

Winston Churchill hated the Soviets.

“He started off anti-Russian until 1914, then he became pro-Russian until 1917 when he became anti-Russian until 1938 when he became pro-Russian until 1939 when he went anti-Russian until 1941 when he became pro-Russian until 1946.”

Nevertheless, Churchill – in stark contrast to Keir Starmer and his current government – stuck to the truth when it came to the Russians’ achievements in the Second World War.

Biden – Roosevelt

Joe Biden speaks first:

“To defend our independence, to preserve our Union, to defeat fascism. Members of the greatest generation, 80 years ago next week, took to the beaches of Normandy and liberated the continent and literally saved the world.”

According to Biden, Europe – indeed the world – was liberated by the Americans; not a word about the Russians.

Then President Roosevelt speaks – quote from a speech on April 28, 1942

“On the European front, the most important development of the past year has been without question the crushing counter-offensive on the part of the great armies of Russia against the powerful German army.

These Russian forces have destroyed and are destroying more armed power of our enemies, troops, planes, tanks and guns. than all the other united nations put together.“

Conclusion

To witness such rapes of history, you have to go all the way back to the works of Joseph Goebbels. He coined the phrase that if you repeat lies 100 times, they become the truth. We are countering this.

Anyone who tells such lies will no longer be a serious interlocutor. Biden is history – Trump can talk to Putin without any problems. The pathetic figures in Europe who have been comparing Putin to Hitler for years and concealing Russia’s achievements in the Second World War must all step down – all of them. Or do any of these characters really believe they can travel to Moscow and justify Hitler comparisons by saying they were wrong or misguided – sponge over it?
